I used to stay up the night before races and pray to the gods I wouldn't puncture my tubular race bikes that my sealant couldn't fill, 140.6 lost runs over a piece of glass or road debris. I almost went back to clincher tires. But this tool lets me sleep soundly. It's the perfect size to fit in my flat backpack. Weighs like a pen. The reamer and thread cutter are big enough to caulk everything but the cut of the knife. I love that this kit includes packs of "loose" caulking threads. You can use several if needed and don't have to cram them into a tiny loading tube. The KOM kit also plugs your tire without leaving a metal grommet in the wheel, which I think is a lot better. Connectors can get stuck on the end of the lid but I used some tape to secure them to the reamer/cut and I had no problem. Love it, I will get a second one to keep on my XC bike. I will never ride without a camera again.
