It served the purpose

The screw was the right size but didn't fit the hole I needed. I don't know if the problem was with the hole or the screw. I cut it off until I could get the screw out and then glued it to the bottom of the leg. It worked fine. There was a metal insert in my leg that had to be screwed in. If it was just a wooden leg everything would work. I only needed one, but I can use the others later for something else.
