Review on 🔗 Continental OE Technology 4080810 Multi-V Belt - 8-Rib, 81.0 by Fritz Wiest

Installed this Gatorback 4080810 on a 2000 Dodge Ram 2500 yesterday. eeeearp!). The new belt fits perfectly and the squeak is gone. Very quiet , smooth and well made. FYI - the squeak you hear when the truck turns off is belt slippage. A new and tighter belt (like this one) fixes this in most cases. If it still squeaks, you may need the replace automatic tensioner as it may not maintain proper belt tension.The biggest difference I noticed between these Gatorback belts and the Dayco (which it replaced) the lines were cut horizontally between the grooves, on the old Dayco the lines became straight cut across the grooves, and on the Gatorback the lines were cut at a 45 degree angle.
