Review on Etna Pet Play Pen Large by Katie Miller

I recently adopted a 5 year old Chihuahua/Mini Schnauzer mix who was rescued from one of Missouri's notorious unlicensed kennels after five years of continuous puppy production. So it goes without saying that she is a bit shy when she learns to live like a real dog. She hates being outside and is afraid of many things outside of her cage. But with this playpen, both this size and one size smaller, she's learning to trust herself outside the house! This pen is way better than any other I know. All of this is firmly sewn together. The bottom is NOT easily attached with Velcro like many other portable dog play grips. The top zips up securely and she has plenty of screen windows to peek out of while she's safely tucked away with her blanket and toys. I can work in the garden and take her to the playpen (it has loops on the bottom to secure it to the ground) and I can visit friends and take her with me using the smaller size while it folds up with the larger elasticated loop , to keep it closed for easy transport. My first child, a Jack Russell Terrier, wouldn't regret it, but for a petite little dog, this is a real find! I would not keep a dog in this property without my supervision. This is not a cage! However, to provide a safe haven while in the real world with me, I couldn't ask for anything better!
