I use this charger to charge my iPhone. I had an iPhone 7 Plus and it charged very quickly. However, I had to get a UGEEN Lightning to USB C cable for this job, but ended up switching to the iPhone 8 Plus, which supports fast charging. When using a Lightning to USB-c cable with this charger, I see almost the same fast charging speeds. It's just that 8 plus loads a little faster than 7 plus, but the difference is small. I highly recommend this charger (with a Lightning to USB-C cable of course) even if you have an older iPhone.
