In theory they look great. The size is perfect for many DIY projects and the matching clamps work quite well. Unfortunately, the performance leaves a lot to be desired. The flexible plastic construction makes them useless for precision work. The manufacturer had to choose a more rigid material or more reinforcement in the structure. As long as you're aware of their flaws, they're good for "rustic" projects where the work details don't have to be anywhere near perfect. Square. They work well as a rough guide to get an almost square shape. For the price, they're good for things like building garage/toilet shelving, rustic wood-framed furniture, etc. Just don't expect them to be used for cabinets, drawers, or other finishing work where detail matters. The plastic material is quite flexible. that your project will look perfectly square when clamped, but if you remove the clamps your project may not be square at all. Because instead of pulling the workpiece at a right angle when clamping, the plastic can simply bend. Not very useful if you want your design to be square, which is ultimately the point of use. If you want a more precise product that doesn't bend, check out the aluminum versions, which cost a little more.
