Well built starter kit good value for money

I bought this starter kit and it is good value for money. Dritz is a well-known sewing brand that is often mentioned in sewing stories. Overall this is great value for money as when you add up the purchase price of each boxed item in store you get a good price for the set. But in general the quality of things is normal. You've helped me get started, but I think as I gain more sewing experience I'll be replacing some of the accessories in this kit with higher quality items. Pros: - Good value for money and gives you all the items you need. Start sewing right away. Such accessories as a seam ripper, seam gauge, tape measure and scissors make this set a worthwhile purchase. Surprisingly, despite the cheap plastic look, the scissors are sharp and easy to use. Cons: - The box they came in for "storage" isn't the most practical as a storage box, plus everything came out of the box, smelled of chemicals and plastic. - Many of the accessories other than those listed above are of poor quality and look cheap. However, with the notable exceptions of marker pens, which don't mark, and tracing paper, which doesn't transfer well, most accessories get the job done. - Many of the accessories other than those listed above are of poor quality and look cheap.
