I was hoping for this item after reading the reviews but a little disappointed after using it a few times. Overall it's pretty easy to use if not a bit confusing. The base connects easily to the sensors, they're color-coded so you can easily tell which cut of meat they're stuck in, but the wireless part is almost impossible to read unless you're holding it at the right angle. I've searched all over the internet and tried everything I could, but I couldn't increase the contrast of the wireless part. I've tried new batteries and they work great in the base, but the wireless part is very weak. I'll use the base and just watch the temperature there because the wireless part is almost useless as I can't read it. general. Maybe I'm stupid. I'm not sure.
