Getting started I like this router for the price. These are all wired gigabit ethernet ports, which are hard to find at this price point. The signal is strong and makes my wired Wi-Fi modem really usable. My wired wifi is not dual band at the same time and my 2.4ghz printer means I'm stuck on n wireless. I bought this router because my home wifi is bad and I thought it was 2.4Ghz interference. I plugged it in and within 15 minutes it was up and running, including updating the Trendnets firmware. It turns out that not only is the 5GHz signal fine, but the 2.4GHz signal is much more reliable on this router than my cable company's devices. I haven't even installed ddwrt on it yet and don't know if I ever will.
