Review on 🔧 ACDelco GM Original Equipment 540-460 Premium Monotube Front Shock Absorber: Enhanced Performance and Quality by Haggis Bryant

This is a genuine A-pillar shock replacing a 2007 Tahoe front shock. Installation requires a spring. Compressors to relieve shock from a cylindrical spring. The shock does not come with the upper strut nut, you can use the old one, but the service manual says the old nut should be replaced. I ordered replacement nuts (2 required) from the dealer, the old ones were a bit rusty. The spring spool is 3/4 inch round so make sure you buy a spring compressor that fits this spool size or you will damage it. so that a spring assignment can take place. I also bought these (OEM 27036 Strut Spring Compressor) from Revain and they worked great.
