Review on πŸ™ Maple Personal Kneeler with Storage - Creative Brands YC790 by Brad Laverentz

Used to turn an uncomfortable knee into two comfortable knees

I knew it would be too high when I ordered it but as I got older my knees needed some padding. This knee pad, as delivered, did not have the expected padding. It really felt like kneeling on the board as the original foam crashed straight into the tree. Only very thin, very soft foam was used (picture above the knee pads). First I cut the box in half to make two knee pads with a table saw. Then I bought a thicker PE foam that doesn't budge and replaced the cheap worthless styrofoam. So now I have two knees at the perfect height and with comfortable padding instead of one knee that is too high with very uncomfortable padding. Between the cost of the original knee, the cost of the polyethylene, the cost of the fabric, the cost of the wood, and the cost of the tools (the tools from my wood shop are three hours away), I got two excellent knee pads for the price of two mediocre knee pads. The box itself was very good. I would buy it again as I know the padding needs improvement.

Pros
  • Made from maple hardwood
Cons
