Not all balls are magnetic. You start pushing them apart and small metal balls fall everywhere. I have another brand (just adding to what I had) that I have on my coffee table and everyone who comes into the house picks it up and starts working with it. I ended up pulling out all the non-magnetic ones. so they don't lie in the ground all over the house. Now I have a nice bag full of useless metal balls.
