Review on 🔲 Premium Quality ABS Sheet Thick Black: Nominal Raw Material by Paul Wilson

I'm new to making Kydex sheaths for everything but I'm quite a craftsman and newbie to making custom knives so I was hoping to find out , after seeing a few of these tutorials on youtube on how to make kydex sheaths, i decided to pull the trigger and give it a try. Since I have not had any experience with this before, I cannot rate this Kydex in comparison to others. However, I can attest that my FIRST project with this product went pretty well and I already have several more sheaths and designs planned for other knives. My first attempt was to make a real sheath for my Becker BK9. I wanted the Scout configuration to stay out of the way (horizontally instead of hanging up and down) and I wanted to be able to attach other things to it with rubber bands or paracord. I have to say that my first try turned out to be almost professional quality apart from a few design considerations that I may change in the future. Kydex performed as expected, taking about 5 minutes in the 350°C oven to reach the right softness. It took a bit of trial and error to get the technique right, but once I did, my vagina came out really well. It was very easy to use the heat gun to adjust and reshape certain elements and was very easy to work with the tools I had. Click, bandsaw cutting and sanding went smoothly with no errors. The Kydex arrived very clean and I rubbed the smooth side with some sort of Vindex before using it and it stuck together as it should when I drilled my Chicago screw. Holes all well aligned. I would add that this product seemed reasonably priced, 8 sheets of 12" x 12" can make many sheaths for many knives. loops), but if I forget the belt loops I could easily fit 2 Bk9s on one sheet. Can't wait to try this out on my other projects!
