I wanted something my son could stack high. That's great. It also has shapes that fit specific slots. So two toys in one. However, many figures fit into other holes. So while I'm trying to teach shapes and dexterity to my little one, he can get away with putting some shapes in other holes and that annoys me. My only concern is that the stickers don't stick well. However. I think if we work on the count I'll care more, but it annoys me that they just don't keep up. I love how they all fit in the large bowl including the small figurines and the lid keeps everything in place. Allow us to travel with him if we wish. Four stars. Great for stacking. Not ideal for distinguishing shapes and/or when trying to teach counting.
