Received this box of wire nuts yesterday and they are just what I need. My main goal is to connect speakers that already have wires with an additional speaker wire. With these wire nuts; No more trying to unsolder or cut off old pins that can't be used. An example of this is two speaker baffles from Radio Shack. I'll end up hooking them up to my stereo console as external speakers, and the wire nuts will make the job extremely easy. Another example is using a sound system to play Christmas music outside. I have two outdoor speakers, which are also wired and pre-assembled and can be connected immediately. The wire nuts make the work even easier and the connections are weatherproof. I already had the yellow wire nuts, but they were too big for the speaker wire I was using, so they kept falling off. With this kit I can now use wire nuts which are great for a very clean connection.
