I have to say right away if you don't have any soldering experience, don't take it. However, if you have soldering experience and have a bad lighting connection, go for it! Very well made despite being small. Don't let the pictures fool you. The Lightning connector is very small. Look carefully at the photos and you will see how big the port itself looks. Of course you know the size of the lightning port connector part, now find out the size of the ribbon cable. The end that connects to the computer/board has 48 pins and is less than 1 inch. A small iron is required and experience is a must.
