Contacts were getting stuck on both the plug and socket ends of my components. Very difficult to remove. The sound quality was bad. I would give them a price of 15-20 dollars. I wouldn't recommend them because I'm sure their XLR connections are cheaper than these. Direct comparison with Nordost Purpler XLR flashlight. Both were brand new out of the box. These immediately disturbed the singing! The soundstage has shrunk drastically and transparency has decreased significantly. Listening to Counting Crows, "August and Everything After" 200g 45rpm LP on Rega P3, Kef LS50 and about $6000 between the vocals sounded nasal, with a veil that was almost insulting.
