Review on Perky-Pet Pink 132TFP Top-Fill Glass Hummingbird Feeder – 24 oz: Vibrant & Convenient Solution for Attracting Hummingbirds by Renee Jones

Cute hummingbird feeder, flowers are realistic, soft silicone rubber, feeding holes are wide, holds a lot of nectar. Hummingbirds in my area would feed on flowers that looked like the flowers on this hummingbird feeder. However, the hummingbirds would not drink from this feeder, they instead drank from a small single plastic hummingbird feeder with a hole, a yellow flower with a red bottom (bought a single feeder at a dollar store for a dollar, however you need it to refill the single hummingbird feeder with nectar over and over again) . While looking to clean this hummingbird feeder, I opened up the base and found various large glass-like crystals of various sizes. I thought the nectar had crystallized but when I put the crystals in hot water they didn't melt. The crystals didn't cut me like glass but had sharp edges. Now I know why the hummingbirds didn't drink from this hummingbird feeder when they opened the package and poured in the nectar and water.
