Review on AmazonBasics Dimmable Candelabra with Extended Lifespan by Phanikumar Larsen

These are next generation bulbs with a specially designed LED that looks like a normal incandescent bulb. Unlike other LED light bulbs which are made of plastic and the LEDs face towards the top of the bulb, they are made of glass and are brighter as they don't contain plastic to filter out some of the light. I use them outdoors in a fixture and was concerned that other plastic bulbs might suffer from UV damage. I don't have those concerns with these glass bulbs. I just installed it yesterday and can't confirm durability. The previous LED bulbs I used worked 7 years after I installed them and I only replaced them because I prefer the daylight outside.
