Simple, easy to use, effective.

This slam ball reminds me of those rubber balls that we used to play with on the play ground in grade school. except its filled with sand. and it doesnt bounce.I got the 12 pound Slam Ball. It's a good weight for me because the exercises seem to start out pretty easy to do, but then quickly become more difficult through repetition. Often stuck at my desk, this is nice to keep handy for a quick few reps of something while seated in my chair. or if I'm really feeling it, just stand up and get started. No room for bulky equipment around? This is about the size of a soccer ball.I had to look on youtube to get some ideas about how best to use this thing, and the lack of some kind of a usage guide would be my only complaint. But it's pretty straightforward and theres plenty of info available. often referred to on youtube as a medicine ball. It appears well made. I dont expect a any mishaps or breaks. The surface is textured for sure, easy gripping. I'd recommend it.
