My 4 year old daughter is a real seamstress. She loves spending hours crafting in her room. She is building her designs on her toy box and is sitting on the little chair my husband made for her. We bought this table as a Christmas present so that she would have a place to sit/work while she does her chores. As we have a month before Christmas we haven't tested it but here is what I expect from the product. As mentioned in many other reviews, I expect long-term use from this. The whole table is smaller but its functions are very well proportioned. The seat is wider and offers a lot of space. The tabletop slides out easily, giving you plenty of space to work. The dish cup is a really neat feature so you don't have to worry about crayons, colored pencils, pens, etc. rolling off. It has a very nice glossy finish that is usually easy to clean. I'm 5'4" and about 140 pounds, and I can sit in the seat without much effort. My feet don't fit under the table top, but that's to be expected. I can easily use it to sit if my legs are not in the way. The materials are solid as are the hardware used. After assembling the table I gave it a good shake and the product did not move. I will say that the instructions could have been better. These are all pictures with a few letters representing some parts but they don't show up properly. You really need to focus on the pictures to see which part to use in some steps. Overall it wasn't a big job and I was able to get it right put it together. I love how it comes with the storage. Organization is a huge bonus for me. The cloth basket is a little smaller than I expected but still holds a lot of space. The only downside is that there is nothing preventing the bin from coming out from behind. So if you push the bin in too quickly, it will immediately slide out. For me this is not an obstacle, but the manufacturer can improve it in future models. I will have my husband create a piece to attach to the back so this doesn't happen. She looks the same as in the photo. The details are well done and the colors are vibrant. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good desk for their child. In fact, I've already recommended it to a friend and she's going to buy two for her girls.
