I chose this to compress hot sauce mixes after cooking so I can separate liquids from solids and squeeze out any juices to maximize what I can bottle. I used the smallest strainer and it juiced really well. The problem, however, is that the pressed part discharges the material from above and does not remain in the press. My solids stuck to the disk as intended, but at times it partially pushed the disk out due to the pressure. It could be materials as the little peppers don't go through the holes of the disc so the force can push the disc out. I will still use it next time I make hot sauce.
