I had a hard time finding a heart shaped locket to put small items in... I was glad to find this one. It's beautiful and has enough space for me to fit the tiny pieces of glass it was designed for. It was really easy to open... just slide it apart on the sides and when you close it the magnet will keep it closed. It was a bit difficult to fill because it was trying to close again. 180 degrees does not fully open. As long as I held it securely so it didn't close up, it was easy to fill. However, I intend to superglue it securely because since it was so easy to open, I'm afraid it might get caught on something while wearing it and all of its valuable contents might squirt out.
