Stopped working after just a few days

Benefits: Battery operated Large feed chamber Adjustable "portion size" Can have 3 different feeding times and can dispense feed up to 3 times for each feeding time at the tank or can with attached to a flat surface using the supplied adhesive pad. The screen and buttons appear to be fairly waterproof. Comes with a high quality micro USB charging cable. Can be rotated 360 degrees. open The clock seems to be running fast. The feed chamber stopped spinning properly after just a few days. I opened it up and was surprised to see that out of the box the battery was fully charged. I set the watch and set up a few test hands to try before relying on it. Setting up was easy enough. It worked fine in my test runs. So I got some turtle food to put in the chamber so I could adjust the feed door. The door to put groceries in was difficult to open. I basically had to lift the back to attach the clasp. Then again the same with the feed regulator. But after stuffing him full of food, I did a few hand feedings to see how much he was spending. After getting it the way I wanted it, I plugged it in to charge it just to be on the safe side. There is no charge indicator, but judging by the indicator the charge level is already full. I attached it to my turtle shell and waited for the set time to see how it worked. It worked fine the first time, and it worked fine again in the morning. Fast forward a day and as I was getting ready for work, I kept hearing this weird and loud clicking noise. That's where it came from. The dispenser started spinning, but then the motor stalled and wouldn't spin any further until I turned it by hand. When I turned it by hand it finished its cycle and I thought maybe it was a coincidence. Later that evening I started hearing the clicking sound again. He was re-tied and freed by hand twisting until he was re-tied about the second half of the turn. I plugged it in thinking maybe the battery wasn't as charged as I thought it was or the display wasn't showing properly. But it still doesn't work this morning. I'm glad I decided to try this out for a while before my vacation comes around. I wouldn't trust this to feed my turtle/fish while I'm on vacation. I would not recommend this product either.
