I was afraid that buying mini blinds would still look cheap but the black color definitely makes them elegant! I have it in my white kitchen. The only thing to note is that they don't come with traditional clips like most mini blinds do. I didn't realize this when I bought it (my fault) so I had to use the stock brackets I had and paint them black. I hung 3 in a 7 foot wide three panel window. It's a full window so I didn't have to attach two sides at a time, meaning I had to hang it from above. They fit perfectly in the old style bracket and you never can tell. In general I am very happy with them. At first I thought paying $50 for mini blinds would be too expensive, but they turned out to be well worth the price. It's always nice when the picture you have in your head turns out exactly how you hoped it would!
