Review on 🎧 JLab JBuddies Studio Over-Ear Kids Wired Headphones: Toddler Safe with Volume Limiter & Mic, Adjustable & Noise Isolating - Graphite/Purple by Troy Arnold

These are really cool headphones! My son needed a pair for first grade. Since I can't be in class to turn up the volume, I wanted to make sure he didn't blow his eardrums. They keep the music at a safe level. Before sending them to school with my son, I tried them out with music and a few YouTube videos. Although the volume was low enough that I could still hear the background noise of things around me, the music was always at a volume that I could hear comfortably and clearly. For me it was the perfect balance of security and clarity. The ear pads can be easily adjusted up and down. The headband is sealed, the cord is braided. The controller on the cable only starts and stops the music. There is no volume control. If you want to turn the music up or down, you have to rely on your device to do it (e.g. turn up the volume of a YouTube video on a computer without headphones). I was impressed with the style of the headphones. They are way cooler than what I usually see in young kids. My son didn't want headphones with tiger ears or a cartoon character on the ear cups. He wanted something that looked like "big kid" headphones and they definitely delivered. I can't say anything about the durability of the headphones yet, since we're only in the third week of school. My son has yet to complain that they don't work. However, the pair I sent him to school with was the second pair I bought. I've ordered these before and the right side of the earbuds had no sound (hence the loss of two stars in my rating). I sent them back and ordered another pair because my son wanted them. The second set worked brilliantly during our brief preschool testing period. I hope they last until the end of the year. If not, I'll update my review here.
