I've tried several training/barking collars and wasn't happy with them I have a stubborn American pit that I need a shock collar with. I live in an apt complex where 6 other apts also have dogs and she doesn't play well with others so I didn't want her to turn on with her barking and that's the first thing I found, that actually is working. She just barked once and stopped. I was so happy that something was finally working, but then I dropped the box and its collar fell off. With other dogs, I would start barking and the collar would keep coming off. The wind blew and the collar flew off. I didn't know how to set it yet and found it was at 5 which is too high a value I'll never use again but I figured the 'smart' part in this item's name meant it that it would only turn off when she barked, and I was dead wrong about that, so I had to take it off her at the time. But overall I'm very happy with it and I've turned the settings off and I think over time she'll just need to see it or take it off and she won't bark at other dogs which I need because her breed alone is enough to scare people and for her safety, I don't want her to sound so intimidating. she loves people The collar charges quickly and holds a charge for several days. Also, it fits dogs of all sizes, she has a thick neck and I was surprised at how well it fits her.
