Review on 📼 Velox 16mm White Rim Tape - Pack of 2 by Wes Thao

Thick tape that sticks well to the rim. I used a disinfecting wipe (plentiful) to remove dirt and grease from the rim that might help stick before applying. The tape was slightly wider than the deepest "well" of my rim (which was 10mm), but I still taped it down easily by bending it and covering parts of the bevel on either side. Although flexible it is thick and looks very durable so I have no doubt it will protect the hose well. The description does not state that the valve cutouts in the band of this French product are designed for French Presto valves and not for the larger Schrader valves (which are in my pipe). I started placing the tape just behind the valve cutout on my rim to make sure the tape cutout didn't line up with the spoke nut position. The tape was about an inch longer than required for my 700x25 tire size, so it could be trimmed down a bit initially to accommodate the notch away from the spoke nuts if needed.
