This tape was used to wrap two 27" x 1.25" tapes. First, it's unlikely that he's that "sticky." Take your time during installation and also pay attention to flat rims: it is thicker than some other rim tape options and can interfere with some tires. Thick tape that sticks well to the rim. I used a disinfecting wipe (plentiful) to remove dirt and grease from the rim that might help stick before applying. The tape was slightly wider than the deepest "well" of my rim (which was 10mm), but I still taped it down easily by bending it and covering parts of the bevel on either side.
