So I just bought them to entertain my cat. Because HE LOVES THIS! He will carry them around the house, ask to play with them, he hoard them, hide them, he will cry when they are out of reach, it's funny. He chews on them and eventually they fall apart. For some reason, he likes to bite their tails off first. Although he chews them, it never made him nauseous. I can only find tiny bits of fluff from his murders all over the house. What if you have a vacuum cleaner, fixing the massacre is easy. The only thing I don't like about worms is the leash they attach to. It breaks very easily. It's really useless. I've found that the best way to deal with ALWAYS breaking line is to replace it with line. It's much stronger and lasts much longer. Just tie the line like you would fish bait and it will never come loose from that worm again! I have also found that my house cats, kittens and older cats love these little worms. And since they come in good numbers, I want to share them. So far I haven't met a cat who hasn't fallen in love with these worms!
