Really nothing to complain about for such a cheap mic. It does what it has to do to replace the microphone. Since it's so cheap I would categorize it as "disposable" because if it breaks or stops working you can just get another one. I use it off road a few times a month and so far so good. My old Cobra mic was bad because the other party heard a loud screech when transmitting. Replacing the microphone solved the problem and they actually hear me better than before. I was able to take them both apart and swap the insides as this one has a regular sheath but the cobra had a bad cord. Will definitely buy again
