These very small and very easy to install lanterns give off a pleasantly warm light. The best thing about the installation was that the shallow depth allowed me to place it anywhere on the ceiling. For those who are concerned I have not seen a UL rating on them but these are very high quality and well made lights. They won't fit in a standard junction box, but you can cut a special hole and install them directly in the ceiling. The installation took only five minutes.
