The price was high. The problem is that when installing the yellow cartridge, I kept getting the message that the cartridge was not installed or that the cartridge was empty. It originally registered as a full cartridge, but after playing around with it to get it to work, it simply registered as empty. After working on it for HOURS, I found that I could get it to work by enabling the non-Dell cartridge option (in maintenance settings), but that only worked intermittently. In the end, I found that the problem was that it didn't quite fit into the slot. Looks like a few hundred centimeters less. Pushing the cartridge up (which ensures the printer's pins make contact with the chip on the toner cartridge) everything worked fine when printing. at that point it said there was no toner cartridge until I let go. I think I solved this problem by tucking a folded piece of paper under the toner cartridge, which lifted the toner cartridge about a millimeter. After that (2 hours ago) the toner cartridge is still recognized as present. Let's hope it stays that way. Update February 22, 2020: I received a message from customer support regarding this concern. They sent a new batch that fit perfectly and had no problems. I have to say that V4INK's customer service has been exceptional. I don't know what happened to the first cartridge, if it was damaged in transit, but this one works fine. I will continue to shop from this company knowing they have great customer service.
