Benefits: This unit is supplied with a traceable Z540-1 certificate of calibration, measured at 24.0°C and 45.0% relative humidity. The instructions are quite simple, but without them it is not difficult to understand how to use this device. It comes with a kickstand that you can use, but it mounts at a pretty low angle. It's a small device, but the display is very clear and sharp and stays that way no matter what angle you look at it. It looks well made and durable. Not so good: The included Cal Cert was issued 6 months ago. Note that this device has no decimal resolution, whole numbers are used for temperature and humidity only. That's probably fine for a lot of people, but I want 0.1% resolution for my calibration reports. My only real complaint is changing the temperature gauge from F to C. You must remove the kickstand/battery door to access this switch. Very uncomfortable. You can drill a small hole in the battery door to bypass this. This device is well built and a good price for one with NIST traceability. However, it has its limitations, so I ordered another (more expensive) unit with 0.1% resolution and an F/C switch on the front. I like this one enough to keep as a spare
