Worst Product Ever: Small Appliances

I am a popcorn lover and owned an Elite Cuisine EPM-400 for 12 years until the heating element failed. I bought this device hoping it would get better. Here's what I found. When I shipped it it was covered in fine white powder/dust all over. I had to spend a lot of time cleaning each surface. When I assembled it, it wasn't very durable. It seems you could knock it down very easily. Because the base is too narrow. It should be wider. The metal handle, shelf and door tray are very thin and sharp-edged. It's easy to cut yourself if you're not careful. The door that unfolds is of terrible quality. He doesn't stay down. See photo. I was willing to ignore all of these flaws as long as it makes delicious popcorn! The first batch really got me excited. I've been using the bird combo sets I buy from GFS for years. They always worked great on my old machine. Right on the box it says "Ideal for 6 oz. poppers Since it's an 8oz popper like my old one, there shouldn't be a problem right?!? NOT SO. A motorized agitator is MUCH slower. It's about 1/4 the speed of my old car. This clogged the pot with popcorn! I ended up filling my house with the horrible smell of burnt popcorn. I'm so pissed! I bet this popper would fill up with just 2 ounces of popcorn. I can't believe a so-called "popcorn company" could make such a terrible product. .and think I could buy the same car for $50 more? TERRIBLE. Revine, you better take it back! Can't wait to put it back in the box. I hope I don't have to argue too hard with them. Save yourself the trouble I'm going through and get something else. Don't be a cheap Slovenian like me. Spend the extra money and get a quality product.
