This rug is a good choice. I have an old fashioned clawfoot tub and have to step over the high sides to get in. I need a really non-slip mat to do this safely. This mat sits securely in the tub and provides the support you need to prevent slipping. Also, it's a bit longer than some rugs, so I can move around and keep it under my feet. The light texture of the pebbles feels great underfoot. The rug also provides extra security when my 1 year old granddaughter takes a bath. I put a large rubber laundry basket in the tub for her to sit in and the mat helps keep the basket in place. I have a blue carpet. FYI, it's really aqua and a little darker than the picture. I find the holes between the pebbles quite appealing. I had no problems with mold or odor. I wash my bathtub regularly and let the carpet air dry. By the way, that's a very good price. I've seen it in stores for $4.00+ more.
