From a watch that claims to be a "railroad style" pocket watch, I would have expected a little more accuracy. Now I have it almost a week (6 days). I kept it wound up properly and it's been off for 4 minutes. I understand this is not a quartz watch but this is a significant deviation. It is a sealed watch which appears to be "water resistant" so I have not opened it to see if there is a way to set the time like an antique pocket watch. I don't have the tools to do this without damaging the fill and I have no plans to dive with any type of pocket watch. The build quality of the case seems solid and it looks good. The internal build quality is a little less noticeable, though, as it's not smooth when it's timed. It's possible that it wasn't lubricated properly when it was built, or that the gear lube wasn't evenly distributed. After about a third of the movement of the minute hand when setting the time, it becomes more difficult to move the dial. It is possible for this to go away on its own over time as the mechanism works and moves the lubricant in the watch throughout the movement. However, I expect this to be done at the factory before the watch is sold. Otherwise the watch makes a reliable impression. If you don't mind adjusting the time every few days, then you should be fine. UPDATE: The lubricant in the watch "circulated" internally to make the movement work better for a couple of weeks and everything worked fine for a while. . However, now 6 months later it has completely stalled. I have to say I'm incredibly disappointed, I think a lot of the 'quality' of the watch has gone into its case design.
