I bought more than half a dozen non-contact thermometers to test volunteers and staff. Berrcom is one of the easiest to use and consistently accurate instruments. I bought Berrcom because our local hospital recommended this brand. I agree with her recommendation. I've compared the Berrcom reading to the reading you rub your forehead against - it's an accurate way of taking temperature. The difference in the readings was only a tenth of a degree. One thing that makes it easier to use is that it stays in the "Body" setting. Other brands require you to select body mode every time you use it, which takes time if you're trying to quickly check a lot of people. I recommend Berrcom for ease of use, accuracy, and price.
