Review on Dorman 674 896 Exhaust Manifold Kit by Josh Clifton

Ideal for replacing a cracked OEM exhaust manifold on a Jeep 2.4L DOHC engine. This is the second of these dormans that I have bought. The first was installed on me at a local shop during an engine overhaul. At 12 months all 4 manifold cracks were over 1 1/2 inches long. I'm replacing the second one myself and I believe the first one was installed incorrectly. The kit includes a manifold and a new gasket. It also includes well-written instructions on how to replace the manifold. It is very important to tighten the manifold to specification or the casting will become overstressed and crack. I believe the lack of a torque wrench was what caused my original one to fail. The last one was installed 2 months ago and still showed no signs of cracking.
