I think these steps will fit a lot of cats but my boy is 17lbs. It annoys me so much that they are only held by a couple of screws and are now supported from below. That, along with the fact that my heavy cat will not only climb on it, but jump off it, worries me a lot. I wish there was an approved weight listed so I would know for sure.
