Let me start by saying my main sound system has 6ft speakers and tube amps so I'm very picky about the sound quality. This suggests that you should consider size and price. This soundbar has clear, powerful sound up to the maximum volume without any distortion, even at maximum volume. Compared to the JBL Charge 4, this soundbar has much cleaner mids and tight bass. It's not that boomy, but fills a 15x25 room with a comfortable volume. The Bluetooth worked great and was easy to connect. Three is 3 DSP settings, I would use the film setting and forget it. This setting provides the right mix of bass and treble and a wide soundstage. Compared to other soundbars in a similar price range with even more drivers, it can hold its own and, in my opinion, sounds even better. It's not the number of drivers that matters, it's the quality. This soundbar is used by my daughter in her apartment and I think it will serve her well.
