So a few years ago I wasted a lot of money on blocklock rulers that cost me a few hundred dollars. I could use them as plates in the kitchen for all the good stuff they brought to my sewing workshop. I like to iron the seams, but I can't do that with the block. This ruler (I've bought a couple of creative grid rulers lately) is so easy to use, easy to read, works with whatever type of stitch you prefer, and best of all, it has built-in non-slip circles right where the ruler needs to be Nothing needs to be added so the ruler can be used straight out of the box. I bought this line along with a few other squares plus two sizes measuring 18 inches in length and love them all. I've had Omnigrid, Bloc Loc and even a few Riley Blake lines and due to ease of use and price I'm sticking with Creative Grids.
