Description of πŸ”Ž Optimized Search: CGR6 Creative Grids 6-1/2in Square Quilt Ruler

This 6-1/2 inch square features easy-to-read black and white markings printed in 1 inch grids marked in 1/8 and 1/4 inch increments. Use the easy-to-read, black numbers (printed on white dots) and the 1/4 inch grip sides to cut whole inches. The 1/4 inch dashed lines printed on two adjoining sides aid in trimming seam allowances. Use the patented Turn-A-Round feature – designated by the easy to read, numerical white numbers (printed on black dots) and the 1/2 inch grip sides – to add the 1/2 inch seam allowance. A 45 degree angle is printed in black and is used to trim half-square triangles to size. White horizontal and vertical lines are printed on the square so the center of the ruler is easily distinguishable. Use these lines to square up blocks based on four-patches or embroidered and appliqued blocks. The ruler slides easily over the fabric until pressure is applied. Then, our exclusive gripper holds the fabric in place while cutting, eliminating slipping and miss-cuts!. Total Size - 6-1/2in x 6-1/2in

This is my fifth purchase of the Creative Grid range. I am very happy with the quality of Creative Grid products! I originally considered returning this to the Revain vendor. The non-slip grip material is defective on the underside of the ruler in 2 small spots along one edge. I hope that doesn't affect the safe stand (non-slip) of the ruler when cutting fabric. My rating isn't for the Creative Grid, but for the rough handling that led to this line's shortcomings.

The ruler I received was fake! Fake Creative Grids

I'm a fan of Creative Grids products, especially the lines. I own quite a few. As a result I recently bought 2 rulers, one was a 7/8 ruler and the other was a 6 1/2 square ruler. the 7/8 ruler was ok. the 6 1/2 ruler was a fake! I should have known something was wrong when the ruler didn't come with the usual instructions like they did with the 7/8 ruler. 6 1/2 was wrapped in what appeared to be saran wrap. The quality of the product did not meet Creative Grid's standards. it was a bad…

The only brand I buy now is

So a few years ago I wasted a lot of money on blocklock rulers that cost me a few hundred dollars. I could use them as plates in the kitchen for all the good stuff they brought to my sewing workshop. I like to iron the seams, but I can't do that with the block. This ruler (I've bought a couple of creative grid rulers lately) is so easy to use, easy to read, works with whatever type of stitch you prefer, and best of all, it has built-in non-slip circles right where the ruler needs to be Nothing…
