This bed is very soft and cozy. One kitten took to it straight away and has slept in it every night since I got it. Please note that the cover is not removable and is machine washable. I have a front loader so dropping the entire bed isn't a problem and the baffles keep the stuffing in place. If you have a top loader with an agitator you may need to check the dimensions and see if it will fit. I love the bed and my only complaint is the stitching. It looks like they used glue or other glue to seal the areas that they couldn't sew after stuffing. There are very hard spots at the back of the bed. For a kitten it doesn't matter, but for a curious dog it might.
