Review on ⚙️ Yamaha F15 15hp 4-stroke Outboard Engine Water Pump Impeller Repair Kit - 63V-W0078 Series by Dan Phillips

Good News: Works great but I only used the stainless steel outer plate, insert cartridge, damper water seal and impeller. I very much doubted the water pump housing, but I also used it with a wooden wrench. I'm not happy with the setup but the saltwater season will tell. More good news, good seller, just in time. 4-5 stars for South Marine! Bad: I would really go for Yamaha genuine water pump parts, given the conditions you will be putting your engine in of course. The original equipment has tighter tolerances (neglected galvanized steel bolts included in the kit), stainless steel body bolts and better matches my early 2000 Yamaha F15 4-stroke engine. Overall: the details were good! Should it last a season in saltwater, maybe a few in freshwater? I feel the need to replace the water pump again next spring, but this is a great option if you are in urgent need of parts (product and seller). I say this because it has been 6 years since the water pump was last run.
