Review on Dorman 674 974 Integrated Catalytic Converter by Carlos Block

I have my own BMW workshop and have been using BMW factory parts for years but sometimes as these cars get older it just isn't profitable to fit a catalytic converter for 1600.00 on a BMW that only cost about 2000.00. To help my customers I found this Dorman brand converter and I was very satisfied not only with the price but also with the quality as it is just like the OEM with very good welds and stainless steel like OEM. It even came with upper and lower manifold gaskets and bolts. The top seals are OEM Victor Rienz who supplied them. Now the only part I thought was a joke was the nuts and bolts. It's just not what I would use. I would buy the OEM bolts and nuts for the bottom section instead of using what they came with, but you can use the hardware there, it just isn't as high quality as the rest of the converter. The converter fits 100% like a factory part, no mods or oddities. I will definitely buy again if needed. Many Thanks
