It worked for me but after a few drive swaps it seemed to come up but the drive wasn't connected to the motherboard SATA port. I thought it was something mechanical so I removed the cover to see how the drive fits into the slot. Everything looked fine, but when I tried to pull it out, the lever flew up and the feathers flew in abundance. Trying to assemble it without instructions won't cost you $20. I found and bought a better version. https://www.amazon.com and data. It now connects to the motherboard but I can't figure out why it wasn't connected before. The new caddy should arrive on Sunday and I use it and throw this one away.
