so I was concerned if it would work on a Samsung 800 series 4k TV. then i was worried if it would work like everyone said. So I put in two triple A batteries, pointed to the TV and pushed the power button and then bama wamo, the TV turned on like a charm. then I took some joy spurts, like yeah yeah yeah! uuuu! now let's see how long it lasts. then I'll update the date if it doesn't take long. This remote works very well so far but I just got it today and am using it for the first time so a good number button works with great volume and the channel up and down button works too, other buttons I didn't have at the time touched because I do I don't know what you do so it works and I'm happy
