Awesome for Honda Pilot 2013

To Install: Jack up the rear of the vehicle. I removed the rear wheels and began marking the position of the springs and spring seats with a thick pencil or permanent marker. Mark the top and bottom of the spring and the spring seats on the lower wishbone and upper spring bracket for an accurate measurement. I used a spring compressor and slightly compressed the springs. Torsion bar, shock absorber and still compressed spring are separated. After the spring on the lower A-arm lost tension, I disconnected the A-arm. I didn't remove the springs, but I did make sure my spring compressor was compressing the springs well. Another person picked up the spring and used a 6 point socket (#13 or 14. Can't remember). Used a 6" ratchet extension and took an old fender. I grabbed underneath the spring the other person was holding. Carefully I slipped the old firing pin under the spring. I know any mechanic will say it was risky doing it doing it that way because the feather would be a rocket and would destroy everything in its path if it slipped. There are eight of them! It was a risky move on my part and I'm not advocating doing it that way This is exactly how I did it. Before you begin, make sure you have a long hex wrench that is the right size to get the full depth of the Timbren Fender. I was then able to push the lower A-arm down and slide the timbre between the spring and the A-arm. Make sure the silver gasket is facing up in the timbre. While holding the timbrine on the A-arm between the coils of the spring, I slid the hex tscrew on the hex key and press them all the way into the bottom of the timbres. I slipped the hex bolt through the hole and then put the black spacer over the hex bolt. Slide timbres up and tighten the screw. I used a pair of vises and connected them with an Allen wrench to tighten the lever. When I reinstalled the A-arm bolt and made sure the spring marks were aligned. I kept making sure all the spring marks were aligned when I loosened the spring compression. I finished reinstalling one side and then took the other side. The first page took me about 2 hours to figure out how to do it. The other side took me about 45 minutes. Product Review: I had to install these earlier as I'm towing a trailer with a drawbar weight of about 450 pounds. Driven approx. 2500 miles round trip with trailer without sagging or sagging. Helps a lot with body roll when towing or not. This is a great product and an alternative to airbags. The lack of trailer weight makes driving difficult. And I mean minor. There were no complaints from teenagers when in the back seat. It may be due to their added weight, but I do notice a stiffer ride when not towing alone. The timbres are constantly in contact with the lower forearm. If I removed the top disc there might be some play and a smoother ride, but then it might act as a rebound stop and hit hard on small bumps. They are expensive as they are double length fenders. However, if you're hauling with high drawbar loads, they're worth it. If you're a home auto mechanic and know how to handle springs and compressors, this isn't a bad setup. Give yourself about 4 hours in case you come across rusty screws.
