TL:DR (Program is annoying, needs admin rights and "opens" every single fan at EVERY start. The first time I had to order a replacement. After about a month the program refused to recognize mine controller, even after hours of trying to find any indication of a physical connection issue) [Update: May 6, 2021 Software is working again and lighting effects are working properly, so I've gone from 2 stars to 3 stars :) ] I did put these fans in their dynamic body 011 lian li because they can connect to the Razer synapse. It turns out that you need to control everything or nothing via the synapse, meaning the only way to adjust the light is via the Thermal Take RGB software. The software is a bit difficult to maneuver at first, but after about two or three days of experimenting with different settings etc. I found a way to get the effects I wanted and they even saved a few "profiles". what is good. My problem is that the software requires admin rights and so it doesn't load at startup and needs to be manually enabled and each fan needs to be "opened" in the software, otherwise it defaults to the ring rainbow effect. It was annoying, but I had already invested time and money (the first set of fans broke, I got a replacement) so I accepted it. However, after about a month of work usually. The software is now telling me that the controller "cannot be found" with error code H_0x0001. After troubleshooting, fire up every connection, replace the controller with a new one, make sure all cables are intact, etc. Try trying different software updates yourself to see what might have changed when it was working fine and now.
